It is simple and it isnt.. lol. BMW wont be able to crap for us in the US. So the alternative is wiring it up the way I did.

Hi Sanj
I read with interest that you have fitted Bruce Mirand's M5 mirrors and that you may be looking to sell yours? I look forward to seeing the pics.
If you are looking to sell, what year is your car? I have an April 05 build E61 would they be compatible? Can you PM me with a price? I've got a folding mirror switch for the drivers door that I can fit, so apart from the programming is there anything else I would need?
Does anyone know if the outer covers are interchangeable i.e. could I swap my Titanium Silver covers from my non-folding mirrors and if so how - do they just clip on and off?

consider it one less item that breaks and you have to haggle with your SA on whether it should be covered or not

Only 2004-2007's don't have folding option in US. Now all the new ones
have that option. I guess BMW realized it's useful and cool. Lol

Nice! Thanks for the link.

Does anyone have this module? Can you confirm it works as advertised?

It's research time, cause it's got some cool features.

This seems like it works because you have folding on programmed into the car. it says it doesn't work with 2004-2007 E60's.

Has a lot of cool features too.
