Well i just had my door modules coded and now have Auto folding mirrors, so happy. Programming took 45mins, should work on any pre- 2005 e60.

DOH! i ment pre-2005 not post. Depends if you have door modules or not, i would imagine you have them. Also can be done if you have electric seats with drivers memory.
I sat with the service tech while he did it and got to see how ISTA actually works which was really cool.

no way!? i have elctric seats with memory! so theoretically, m5 folding mirrors should work as well right?

might as well have it coded to the door modules though as you have them fitted, the software is the same so there`s no reason why it wouldn't work.

word of advice though, ask to speak to the head service tech `coz i got fobbed off twice by an SA while i was researching it.

thanks for the heads up... i definitely have to be smart about this since they try to milk me for every penny every chance they get to the point that i am now convinced they create new problems for me n tell me they need to fix em for $x00 amount of money like my passenger seat that magically stopped moving up or down after the seat sensor recall they did on it

i'm probably gonna hold off on this though unless i get the m5 mirrors, which is more likely i will now since theres a good chance i can have the autofold programed

Looking good Blood!I'm gonna have a set of autofolding mirror's(pre-2005)in silver grey for sale as i'm getting Bruce's autofold M5 mirror's fitted today!
