I really wanted to hook up my iPod to my 545i, I was wondering if the 545i has a 1/8 auxiliary jack for my iPod. If not, what are my options on hooking up my iPod.

Thank you.

I wanting to know the same.
I think an iPod adapter, or an aux port for 3 prong jack.

what about the ipod adapter from BMW. You can use that one. I have one that I bought, but am not going to install because it requires me to re-flash my DME.

you have to buy the ipod kit...which a think is a few hundred dollars. I bought mine off another member thinking it was just a plug and play...then the dealer told me i need to do a dme reflash in order to integrate it with my i drive. =/

Does your car have Nav/Logic 7? Do you have CD changer installed?
You basically have two options - BMW/Alpine iPod adapter that goes in place of CD changer if you have Logic 7, or you can install AUX.
I think AUX will run ~$300-400, BMW adapter will be $600-700 depending on the dealer.

I thick I will be fine with AUX. What about DICE? have they made one for the e60 or only <2004 models.
