Yep, anything outside stock wheels will decrease quality of the ride. Moved from 166 19" OEM wheels to stock 138 17" wheels, its silky smooth now .. Even If I hit pot holes I feel very confident that it didn't bent the wheel.

rolling on 20s was a joke, however i still had them for almost 14 months, but after one of them buckled (replica M5S) i replaced with OEM BBS M5 ones, and since the ride quality is superb, and occassionly feel harsh bumps but overall

im Glad that i got these 19s, plus they are Original ofF a 07 M5, so a piece of mind that they wont snap like the replicas did

19s are great
20s are too big
21s well thats a show car.!!

you're just noticing the difference between the stock and your wheels with the drop

I have 19"s and sure they're bit harsher than my 17" winter setup, but that is the the price I have to pay for looks.

I also dropped it about 3 inches so that might have something to do with it also

I was gonna say...dayum...that's a lot of drop. Do you know what brand the suspension is? Got any pics of the car anyway, just to see what it looks like.

that still looks like a pretty big drop, it looks like the front wheel is slightly tucked under the fender.

yeah, that's definitely NOT the typical H&R sport drop...has to be either coilovers or maybe H&R race??

Mag75, do you know if you have coil overs or are the springs themselves red in color?
