Hello forum members,

I've been wanting to install my ACS exhaust tip on my 530i but have no idea on how to remove the stock ones. I informally asked a local mechanic and he said that behind the tips are clips that i need to push and the tips will just slide out. I poked and poked around but couldn't find any type of clips. Can someone share on how to remove the stock exhaust tips?? I'll post pics of my install once i figure out how to remove the stock ones. Thanks members.

I think you need to get a block of wood behind the tip and tap it out with a hammer.

I jacked my car up held a block of wood at the back edge and hit it with a rubber mallet and they came right off. It took about 5 minutes to do.

make sure to use the wheel chock, or several, on the front wheels, so your car doesn't fall off the jack

Even easier if you don't jack up the car. I just got on my back underneath and did the old woodblock/hammer bit.
