How to play iPod Video's on the screen?

I remember seeing a post last year about an adapter that you can buy that will play your iPod "Videos" on your Nav screen. I did a search, but only found stuff that related to the new interface which I'm not so interested in.
I want to play re-runs of "What's Happening!", "Good Times" and "Sanford and Son" in my car on long trips. I LOVED those shows.
If anyone recalls that post or knows the stuff I need to make this work, can you post it. Much appreciated!

Is this 'iPod video adapter' different to the Nav-TV system which adds three video inputs to the iDrive screen?
