I am thinking about fitting an E60 stock muffler to my E39 528i. I like the look and I doubt the sound would change much. There was never any stock E39 setup for showing tips that did not require the M Tecknik kit bumper. I think all I would need would be the stock rear muffler off an E60 and I should be able to have a good exhaust shop mount it. Any mufflers guru's to voice in?

Have you seen my post on stock e60 M5 system for sale? I wonder of the drivers side section would work for you? See pictures.

I used to have a e39 (great car) and the system seemed similar- I'd bet a decent shop could fab the drivers side in and you'd have cool 3" round twin tips.

Just a thought- good luck.

Hey, I've not the stock e60 you're looking for from center resonator and back to the tips and all. I would give it away for free, but you'll have to pay actual shipping and handling. It's comes from a 05 545i. PM me if you are interested.
