Hi
AFIAK ,if your car is totally basic then you need to install Professional navigation first to get the wider screen, then it is technically possible to also retrofit the TV. This whole procedure is stupidly expensive if done by a main dealer.

(NB in my accessories catalogue it implies that before you can install Prof Nav you have to have installed Business nav - you can't jump from nothing to prof nav- a ludicrously costly way of doing it if true  )

There are aftermarket companies who offer TV , but I wouldn't touch em.

Overall, its cheaper just to buy another car with the TV already installed.

this TV prob is quite common, so many people want it, yet very few have it.

Im sure an aftermarket company will do something about, as it, is so common.

Very common

It is NOT neccesary to get Prof navigation; I have the ACM module on my Biz navigation and have DVB-T tuner installed for TV. All equipment is genuine BMW. Works great, even if driving faster then 200 km/h.

Get the ACM module and get the DBV-T retrofit kit from your dealer and your stock e60 is HOT!!
