I pretty sure he meant rippin on people. I applaud his moxie and he is already aware of the fact it probably does not work. Its like one of those Brembo covers. Its for shits and giggles.

I mean to each his own... But what if you made a product and people started trying to imitate yours? And that was your way of making a living and getting food? As well as your companies trademark item, I bet you'd be pretty mad after testing and testing and spending sooo much time dynoing and losing money because of the time lost in perfecting a product, only to be ripped off by someone else. I am guessing after materials and time spent making them as well as all the R&D and paying a tig welder to weld such thin aluminum (very difficult), powdercoating, hes probably making $20 a scoop... and you want to rip him off of the mere $20 he makes to maintain a shop a buisness?

No, he has a point that if angles are wrong, turbulence can occur. Thus decreasing airflow, and decreasing horsepower. I'm a private pilot. And I know of the research about something called Coandă effect. The Coandă effect has to do with the tendency of air to stay attached to an adjacent surface that curves away from the flow, and increases ambient air into the flow. It's engineering. It's what you pay for.
