Post Homelink mirror retrofit, no led

Hi guys,

I have got a mirror to open my garages doors and gates but no led active on mirror.very simple swap over (1min) as all connections matched but I don't have an led lighting when I press the buttons.I wondered if it was a power issue so I reconnected the std clown nose mirror and if I remember correctly when the doors are locked that red nose flashes.it doesn't now so thinking its a fuse popped somewhere maybe.....

Any experts on here ?.?.?.?

Did you have alarm or auto dim mirrors from factory?

Ya, I have a dipping mirror from factory and a clown nose mirror originally fitted so presume that's an alarm rather than just remote locking.

maybe there's a wiring difference? Different pins on the connector for the clown nose?

Yes, because if you have this installed from factory, then homelink / garagedoor opener is plug and play. No coding requied. If not, you have to make wiring harness.
