They don't call it 'British Isle" weather for nothing my dear Hobi. I lived there for 10 years and still go visit my mum and S60R on a regular basis, so I should know.

Hi again Hobi,
If you want warm weather, make sure you're in Vancouver for the 2010 Winter Olympics. I'm sure the 'pineapple express' from alohalc's neck of woods will set up shop over Vancouver then. You should have seen Dec-Mar this year, it was chucking down pineapples.
That having been said, compared to me, Murphy was an optimist.

Tell me about it.... I was here in Vancouver in January and March - worse than the UK!

I was wondering how they're going to cope with the traffic over Lions Gate Bridge in 2010.......

Don't get me started on the Lion's Gate Bridge fiascos. The amount of money the provincial gov't of B.C. spent on partial widening of the three stupid lanes could have built an entirely new quadruple carriage way structure. Someone in the government gets rich off these boon doggles. And of course, tree huggers would have protested the loss of trees in Stanley Park if they had widened the road to accomodate the new bigger bridge. Everyone suffers. SNAFU.
