I have just finished an overhaul of my audio system - I run a CCC with Pro Nav and CD Changer in the glovebox, i think it had Standard Audio (underseat subs and mids in the doors but no tweeters)

I have fitted the Gladen 201 Extreme kit (uprated 8" subs under the seats 4 " mids in the doors and tweeters to the a pillars

I am using a mosconi quadlock adaptor that takes the speaker level outputs from the HU to my amps in the back - I am wanting to code it to HIFI - as i believe this defeats the onboard EQ - I also wanted to know what else the recoding does, I wondered if it reduced the speaker level output from the HU to line level - or anything else

also is anyone local to Northampton or close by able to do this? I was looking at also getting the airbag alert reset (i didnt have the battery unhooked long enough when i did the doors) and my local specialist have quoted a price for that and said they could LOOK at the hifi coding but If they are not sure I wouldn't want them messing
