Has anyone come up with a hid angel eyes solution for e60 that are not LCI. I would be really interested.

HID angel eyes are really bright but at the same time the inner ring is so bright that you only see light, you basically lose the inner ring in exchange for brighter lights

I am also looking for changing the yellow angel eyes from my E61 LCI. Led bulbs are not sufficiently bright for using as DRL. And would not like to go for HID.
What about using H8 white bulbs? Wouldn't that solve the problem? Probably is not white as led or HID, but probably much better than yellow regular H8 bulbs.

Whats your opinion?

Not too sure if I got all my info right... I have a 2005 545i with xenon projector headlights. Is this an LCI headlight? If not what are the differences btw what I have and LCI, and could you point me to pictures? Thanks.
