I recently upgraded my fog lights to Super Nova HID 6000K Fog Lights. It was a pretty straight forward mod that did not take too much time at all. I used the headlight assembly removal technique to access the foglight bay and to install the ballasts. The passenger side was pretty easy, but the driver's side presented some a fairly tight work space that caused some additional effort. The diver's side contains the windshield washer reservoir as I expected...what I didn't expect was the assembly for the headlight washers (included in the Cold Weather Pkg) to be blocking access for my hand /arm to reach the foglight for the new bulb replacement. Anyway, after a little time and a few less layres of epidurmus my install was a suceess. Boy....are these things bright ! Note - these fogs did not replace the stock bulbs, those have already been replaced with Piia Super White Extreme bulbs that more closely matched the Xenons in color. Here are some before / after pics.

PS - thanx to Erick at Elite_motorsports_bmw for his product and directions. Also no errors or strobing.

Before - PIAA Bulbs (and Angelibrights V3.0)

thanx for viewing.

I sure hope so. I took the car for a spin tonight, - I did not get highbeamed, yet.

6000K is street legal, but I truely hope these lights don't turn out to be TOO bright.
