I'm thinking HID too. A few members on E90post said that the LED's were not that great during the day time. Reminds me of my old AIB's.
so now I just need to figure out where to order these HID bulbs from and if I need the cancelling cables. Time to post another thread. Just kidding!

HID's C. If I had a LCI. I would go that route easily.
They have a kit for $200 I believe for the H8 bulb. member Jcool1801 (i think that's in SN) has HID's. PM him and he can help out on what kit he got.
And once you get it, let me know, I can't wait to see it, make sure you take a picture in the daytime of the before and after.
Happy new year Bro!

It's been our experience that the HIDs are too bright for the angel eyes. They literally flood the housing and make the rings indistinguishable. I prefer the LEDs as they offer the same pure white light output and keep the clean and crisp look of the rings.

If you want them to be clear rings, get LED. HID will be blobbish in my opinion.
My RDash 7000K LED's are seriously eye-catchers in dusk / evening. So sharp and yet only $50 bucks.
