I like how you added IMO at the end, but it simply is not factual.

Hello. Could somebody of those please who have HID angel eyes installed on their E60s (possibly LCI) post some pics of the parts of the HID kit - what and where is connected/mounted and how the parts are connected together (the harness connected to the ballasts, to the bulbs and the bulbs to the ballasts or harness or whatever I don´t know). I need this because here we cannot get a complete kit so I need to get everything separately. Till now I got a HID KIT consisting of two 35watt xenon bulbs and two ballasts. I think there´s the harness which has to be connected to the positive and negative pole of the battery under the bonnet to get it working - but me and my supplier need to see how exactly certain parts look like to get it all work properly. Thank you

I bought one of the best HID kits around for my AE from Motorcepts and guess what? After a year, one side faded in color and the other turns off after few minutes of being on so I bought DTEC v7 from e92lighting.com and the LEDs are very bright! Not as bright as the HID kit but still. I hope the led kit lasts me longer than the HID one did.

Could you post pictures of how bright your LEDs are? Or if you have photos of your HID KIT and LED KIT that would be great. We could compare the brightness of the two kits. Thanks

Btw.. Not talking down on motorcepts because they are great guys with amazing products and I know people who been using the same kit for over a year without any issues but on my car it lasted over a year and here's a video I posted https://5series.net/forums/e60-discu...ci-e60-136338/

You´ve written, that the LED eyes are not as bright as the HIDs are, but despite of that in the video the LEDs seem to be brighter than the HIDs (especally seen on the inner rings - they look more blured than the HIDs ?because of the brightness?). Am I right, or is it just seemingly so and in real the HIDs are the brighter ones? BTW those LEDs 64watt each, or 64 togehter, because I know there are some 32watts each, but 64 each...well...I don´t think so I could get that powerful LEDs here in Slovakia
