The offset is perfect no problems what so ever. Your only issue may be with the tire size or maybe not. I am running 275/30-19 Rear and 245/35-19 Front. I clocked several thousand miles last month with 4 adults and a trunk full of luggage and it never rubbed once! Let us know about the bigger tires.

Hey, Ultra, sweet looking ride!!!

I have a doubt, but i think the 275/35 tires put on a 545i with SPORT may rub due to the lowered stance (545i sport is lower than let's say a 525i sport)...

Let us know how it goes!

Thanks MMAfia

Sport or non sport makes no difference. Both bottom out in the same place there is absolutely no difference. The axle and space in the fender wells is also exactly the same. Non sport just starts out higher and the spring rate is different allowing for more travel. So actually a non sport would have a better chance of rubbing than a sport because it is more likely to reach the bottom than the stiffer sport springs.

The rear will not rub for sure. The only possible rubbing problem will be with the taller tires on the front with the wheel turned all the way to the left or right. I have less than half an inch at full lock with 245/35's so 245/40's on 19's may in fact rub at full lock.

I just went out to take a picture and I can't even fit my finger between the fender well and the tire at full lock.

Actually, you are right if they bottom out in the same place, then it really does not matter if it's sport or not.... hmmmm.

Wow, thanks for taking that pic... looks like it's quite tight in the front at full lock... do you notice rubbing at all when turning at full lock? might just be a very very snug fit?

i think the those wheels look really good on a black e60.... i have a white one which i think will also look pretty good with those wheels.

Chi,

The only thing that you should worry about is your tire size. As pointed out here, 245-40s and 275-35s will probably rub due to their bigger sidewalls. For it not to have a chance of rubbing, go with 245-35 front and 275-30 rear. I believe BMW chose this config for the 645 due to it's bigger wheel wells.

Don't worry dude, they will fit. Those pics the guys posted on this thread already proves that. Go get some sleep, it seems as though you lost quite a bit over this wheel thing.

IMHO they look best (when clean of course) rolling about 15 mph coming toward you along the street. You eye catches the flashes from those big beautiful spokes

Enjoy the new wheels Chi and post a picture for us

Anothre benefit of these wheels is the easy cleaning. Easiest wheel I've ever had to clean - can reach almost everywhere on wheel with large brush. Enjoy the ellipsoids
