I bought a pair of used Bi-xenon adaptive headlights from an eBay seller in Germany. I have bi-xenon adaptive headlights also. Unfortunately, the ballasts are different.

Can any of you experts out there help me with advice/info? Would I be able to order eurospec ballasts and just install it for the lights to work? Where would I order it and how much do they cost? Why the different ballasts?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Hey Fred,
I couldn't plug it in. I should clarify that the headlights didn't come with any ballasts so we tried to put my ballasts on the new unit but it doesn't fit. The connectors are different. I'm waiting for my friend to email me the picture he took of the connector.

Hi Tony,

Is this what you're looking for?
These are Euro spec controller and ballast.

Oooh, thanks for the pics!

The ballast is the larger piece at the bottom right? Well, that's what mine looks like but the receptor on the eurospec headlight is different.

ALC?

That's how the receptor on my stock headlight looks. But the receptor on the eurospec unit I bought is different. If I recall correctly, it only has 2-3 prongs and then something else. So the ballast in your first pic, couldn't fit.
