In extreme cold temperatures (like in Canada) the expanding and shrinking of "regular" air is noticable (will trigger tpms sensors) so this is where the nitrogen is useful. With nitrogen in the tires the shrinkage is much less and therefore no tpms warnings. For all those people that are saying that nitrogen is useless, you are all probably living in warming climates where temperature does not fluctuate enough to make a noticable difference. But in terms of whether or not it is worth $75 that is up to you,
Im in HK and I can feel it 100%

I cannot believe the number of people that failed to pay attention in science. The thread is funny, yet tragically sad.
Then why are all track cars use it like F1 cars and even road cars like the GTR as standard.
write a email saying it dose not work to them guys.

I live in Canada, Winnipeg, freaking cold in the winter. Nitrogen in tires is a scam and nothing more then marketing hype. THE AIR YOU BREATHE AND FILL YOUR TIRES UP WITH FOR FREE IS COMPOSED OF ALMOST 80% NITROGEN.
we all know it only 80% NITROGEN
that is why I got it because its 100% NITROGEN and not 80%
also most say it dose not work because they are not driving the car fast
for normal driving I would not get it.

Because they can get consistantly dry air from nitrogen tanks. It's relatively inexpensive for them, and convenient at the track.

In summary:

If you can get nitrogen for free from your local costco, do it.

If you are sure your local gas station takes care of their air compressor (proper moisture dump valves, good maintenance, etc), that should work just as well.

Or if you're like me and don't give a sh*$ what air is in the tires - because one little nail and it won't matter worth a turd in a breeze what air you put in, go to the gas station and get it free. IF my car was going to the track, sure Costco nitrogen would be fine, but I just get on the 405 - so in short we are wasting too much damn time talking about the single stupidest mod of all. If you got great, good for you, if you want it - don't waste a penny for it, go to Costco and get it free. If the amount of moisture in the air in your tires really is a concern for you, I suggest maybe you are a little too anal retentive and should seek professional help immediately.
