believe what you want but all I know is that in my dad's ridgeline in the winter on very cold days when it is parked outside the tpms sensors give a low pressure warning. This stopped happening with nitrogen filled tires. I'm not saying go out and pay a bunch of money for nitrogen (its free at costco which is why my dad has it) I'm just saying that it does do what it claims, which is reducing shrinkage in extreme weather.
Never had that problem with mine but only drove it through 1 winter of -40 so far.

Honestly, if it's free at Costco, why not? Can't hurt, I just wouldn't PAY for it. I have lived in cold climates before (grew up in Colorado) and in my experience the only thing that prevents shrinkage is thermal underwear and good pants.

If you're concerned with shrinkage problem, then stop by Costco and pump some nitrogen in your pant before going on a date.

Go ahead and waste your money spending $75 on air then lol

No offense man. It's just been repeated over and over that the real reason to get nitrogen is the lack of moisture, which helps control pressure fluctuations, and that the nitrogen content in air makes no difference at all in this issue.

Besides, also as stated above and in the past few threads, it's free at Costco and many other places.

What happens when you have nitrogen filled tires and you add air into it?
