There are multiple lights to choose from, Blue, purple, red, orange, green, yellow etc. If i remember correctly, the colour hue changes in between each colour. So from blue to white you get light blue, white to green you get aqua, turquoise etc.
You can add up to 4-5 differnt mobile phones to the unit itself.

Looks like a nice job - I think I saw someone else who had this kit before.
I just mounted the ipod where I can reach it:
I suppose the disadvantages of this are that the clickwheel can be a little fiddly on a bumpy road or when driving very fast - but then that's probably not the ideal time to change your music anyway.
Also - you have to take the ipod out when you park since it is very much on show.
However, on balance - I don't think I would want all the gubbins that comes with the Harmon Karden kit.
What I WOULD be impressed by is PROPER integration (beyond even that promised by BMW / Dension).
I'd just love to be able to dock my ipod in the glove box and have a 'virtual clickwheel' on the idrive screen controlled by the idrive controller, with all the functionality and menu options of the ipod available - oh and while I am dreaming a better auxilliary connection wouldn't go amiss.
