It's mounted too low. You need to have it up higher, above the mirror.
If I mount the V1 up by the mirror, the rear laser detector would be blocked.... I am getting a mirror mount soon so it will sit flush under the mirror.

That's not correct. I've had mine mounted there for years. It works perfect! I keep mine just on the left side and above the mirror (some do it on the right). Aside from it being out of sight, which is great so thieves can't see it, it also points dead center and straight ahead in that position (It's harder to have it set straight ahead in your position). The rear sensor pulls the same just as yours does, if not better, as I don't have to worry about the rear center headrest in my position. I pick up rear radar all the time where mine is. Trust me. Move it up. That's one of the benefits of hardwiring it.

Looks great .. +1 on the location, like C mentioned, you can mount it higher out of sight from thieves.

+1, I mounted mine exactly like yours. It works flawlessly. I like it this way to keep it hidden from thieves as well.

Thanks! Yes they are

I got the mount in the mail today....it clamped on but I couldn't adjust the mirror far enough....so I returned it...
I tried to mount it up above the mirror like C mentioned, but it seems the mirror on the E92 has less clearance than on the one on the E60...so I left it where it is now...it's still a WHOLE lot better than the 12v power cable so I'm happy
