Now as far as Hamann replicas, I hope they don't come out with it. AC Schnitzer even without the replicas are much more comon thats for all various body parts and not just E60 but other BMW models as well. Hamann tends to be more rare and more "exclusive". The reason I hope they don't make replicas for the Hamann is that it will make them jsut as common as ACS.. my hamann front retails at $1700. I only know of a few forum members that have this front and for the money they paid im sure they wouldn't want everyone and their mother with it as well..

I agree, a lot of the time replicas are made with the exact same materials using the exact same processes so the product ends up being exactly the same. The only difference is you're not paying the original maker of the product their 250-500% mark up for their name. Once again, that's not always the case, but I know that the replica ACS pedals I bought for my E60 are 100% identical to the real ones I bought for my E46 a couple years ago. The only difference, I paid $60 for the replicas and $300 for the originals.
