OK...Here it is Finally?!
The continuation to my upload of HAMANN Quad on my 550 from last weekend - This very much requested Sound Clip for the quad exhaust on my 550 is also on You Tube. It is bit longer than 2 minutes with a few spots where motor is idling so one can really appreciate the differential between "crispness" and "deep bass" and other highs-and-lows during low-and-high-revs of BMW's sheer power. It was slightly windy when this clip was recorded this afternoon - but I believe it is pretty much depicts the true representation of the sound. It is very deep and powerful at low speeds which is GREAT - unlike Japanese "boy-racer" cars which I see all around town. Thank good ness for that.
CRANK UP THE VOLUME ....Let me know if anyone needs any other information....Enjoy..!

I almost fell asleep. Man even with my stock exhuast in my chu chu i can make a better clip than that. You should have bliped the throttle more agressively, and punch it hard to let that v8 sing, not go to sleep.

Ouch... that was quite harsh...
I was just going to say:
May I suggest you just blip the throttle a few times. Make the engine spool up and back down as fast as it can. dont hold the gas... take quick stabs at the gas throughout different RPMs

read what I said mates, was not his fault that exhaust and engine is better than any stocks (except Emmy engine) and also V8 has more juice.
BMW diesels will never have a sound like that. aR did not know how to shoot it if he did it as obviously somebody was in the car ... he has to REV it UP from time to time, do not blame him, he did for us, so thx again and do it again as I said in other posts, thx mate!

like all of us, I have also listened to many sounds clips of various exhausts in my life time ? may be a bit too many. Most of these are LOUD for the sake of simply being Loud and Nothing More. Hitting 6,000 RPM on a car with 6,500 PM Red-Line does Not serve any purpose Except Simply Being Loud ?as some folks are simply trying to show-off their LOUD exhausts ? like boy-racers around town.
I could very easily have made a MUCH MUCH Louder Clip, like many of such which are floating around but chose Not to do so as it does not serve any purpose and realistically does not represent anything ? like most of us don?t drive and listen that way to our engines.
the sound clip which I posted is a realistic "daily-driver sound clip" on RPM and matching speeds within ( & sometimes slightly above the legal US speed limit), like I usually drive. This is really close to what someone actually hears on the outside - unless they are revving up at a red-traffic light to pick up a race. Sorry that it puts some of the members to sleep - I certainly hope that they themselves don't sleep during their own daily drive when they hit less than 6,000 RPM on their way to work or to pick up a carton of milk from the grocery store.
Thanks ats for the comment - but seriously you don't have to defend me. Appreciated though...
