Yup. You are right. I did not see that. However, I did clearly say that if he had the MTech then he needed MTech splitter. I was trying to say the same thing you were. You must match the splitter with the front end type as they are not interchangeable. My bad. Thanks for catching that.

the only problem is, umnitza does not sell a hamann style front lip..
i am glad i asked here. the fitment from umnitza is m5tech and i cannot find a m5tech fitment for a front lip...
i was under the impression the only difference between mtech/m5tech were the addition of foglights in the bumper.
whats my next option as to where i can a hamann style front splitter?
thanks for your time guys

DON'T do it if you are lowered! I have only the sports package and I'm a little lower than without. When I added the lip I was just a few inches from the ground at the lowest point. I can't tell you how many times I've scraped the road. If you have an aftermarket bumper the material is by far less quality. Same material (PP) but I know for a fact the are cutting back on the GF with give you the stability and strength. So, it will not take much at all for a scrape to damage the bumper such as in breaking a clip, ripping the bumper from the clips/mounts. With an OEM, you can take a little more punishment and still walk away... Of course, if you live somewhere where it's flat or the transitions to parking lots are minimal, then it might work.

you will have to drive more carefully as this lip will make your front end significantly lower.

You should buy the lip you want directly from Umnitza since you purchased the bumper from them and if they are selling it for this bumper it should fit. The bumpers are obviously not OEM and you seriously risk a non fitment issue when you start mixing things like this from other venders.
