from 545i to 5.2!!! it needs a lot of work.
I imagine ... Mr Hamann that drills cilinders by hand .. Right ?
They put the engine into a kind of device and it do the work in 2 hrs .



But you should talk to people who made that and they got a new car. (that time 550i was not available as it is only for one year out...) that explains all. pace.
I had the possibility to stop the order of 545i and wait 4 months for 550i .. It's the same car .. 5.7s or 5.5s on the 0-100 is the same thing .
550i isn't faster of 545i ... Simply it has a worse consumption .

The same is for 545i @5.2 ... If you really want to increase 545i power, you need a supercharger or a turbocharger .
