What is this shadowline trim you speak of? Where can I see one, buy one etc. I do want the black kidney grill.
C is talking about swapping out the chrome trim around the door for black "shadow" trim. You can get it from quad_m, get it from him as a whole package when you buy your Mtech kit from him.

No, this is the trim around your windows. Notice how yours is chrome and mine is black? It just makes the car flow better and looks more aggressive. Since you do everything yourself, buy the trim and install it yourself. I think the trim is pretty cheap. Maybe a couple of hundred bucks. Call Garry Romani at BMW of Newport and ask him what cost is. He'll give you a 25% discount as an E60 member.

Oh I see now I looked at your gallery. I like that a lot. Heck BMW should have just built the car that way. Or is that an option? They have too many options. I need that trim that is nice. That plus black kidneys I would be all set. I have too many projects going at once. I am currently working on my stereo install and I should have that done in a few weeks.

I wish Elyk, but I'll take what I can get. The car is fanatastic though. It handles better and just looks better. The rebound off the compression is obviously off, so it can be a little bouncy at times. But the end result(s) are well worth it.

Now I just need to get those 19" staggereds I ordered and get them mounted. Then my car will be complete...for now at least. LOL!
