Interesting question... FWIK, these are 2 different versions for 525/530 and a 545. Any particular reason why you'd put a 545 coilover on a 525/530?
it just happen that somebody is selling used 545 version, and would like to know if fitting it to a 525 would be ok....
The spring rate might be stiffer, but anyone here tried it personally?
thx

Low down on coilovers = They are only best used for a track car when they can be properly set up. The main reason race cars use coilover systems is for corner weighting the vehicle if you do not intend to corner weight or even know what that is then you are wasting time and money. They got popular because guys could drop their car with a turn of the spindle but this will affect the camber and ultimately give you a worse handling car if nor realigned after raising/lowering your car.
It is better to go with a better shock/spring/swaybar combo then installing a coilover kit

Is your only reason for installing coilovers for adjustable ride height?
