Has anyone mounted a gauge pillar pod or the ATI steering column gauge pods on their car I really want a water temp gauge and just want to know if anyone has done this before and can help guide me on what gauge pod I should get?

haven't seen anyone here installed the gauge pod pillar yet but over in the M5 board, some actually installed additional gauges but no the pillar though.
BTW, what kind of rims are those? VB3 or M01?

There isn't a manufacturer that makes a gauge pod pillar for our E60, I've been looking for one for now. There are the gauges that go in your A/C vent, but those are a bit pricey.
