Wait?? do you have the March TIS too? I want you to look up somthing for me and its only in Feb or later TIS.

ALSO can we swap out the regular SMG knob for the ///M one? I really like the M lighted one.

That is a work I am trying to find out as well. As soon as more info is available on that. I will let you know. I am not sure if he wants his name mentioned but he is on the forum.
I do not have the TIS CD's. They are harder to come by and I just don't think I can get them. Sorry guys. I haven't stopped trying though.

This Service Measure supersedes SM B12 208 04 dated 02/01/2005.

Subject

N62 Engine (ME9.2.1 and ME9.2.2) Automatic or SMG Transmission Equipped Vehicles, Loss Of Power While Decelerating and Turning or Coming To A Stop.

Models

E60 (5 Series), E63 and E64 (6 Series), E65 and E66 (7 Series) produced between 09/03 to 12/04 and equipped with automatic or SMG transmission.

Complaint

Automatic 6HP26 Transmision Equipped Vehicles:

The customer complains the vehicle exhibits a loss of power while decelerating and turning or coming to a stop, momentarily affecting steering effort.

SMG GS6-53BZ Transmission Equipped Vehicles:

The customer complains while driving that the transmission switches from the D3 to M2 mode, momentarily affecting steering effort, while decelerating and turning or coming to stop.


Cause

DME software calibration.

Measure

Automatic 6HP26 Transmision Equipped Vehicles:

On a customer complaint basis only, reprogram the vehicle using CIP 15.0 or higher.

SMG GS6-53BZ Transmission Equipped Vehicles:

When available, reprogram the vehicle with CIP 16.1 or higher.
