Right now its just on the side of the pedal, I need to find the best way to hide it. I know there is a topic discussing this someone, I have to locate it.

I'm just worried if this thing will cause damage to engine/transmission over time. Any thoughts?

Nope it wont. The way the Sprint booster works is when you push the pedal a tiny bit, it's telling the computer you're pushing it a lot more. It's just changing the sensitivity of the throttle but boy is it AWESOME!

phil best way to hide the booster is to take out some of the foam inside the carpet the gas pedal sits on to make room for the booster. then put the pedal right on it.

Wow, I've been driving around for the last 3 hours I can't get enough of it. I completly forgot I was in D, and in DS is even more fun. I have been drifiting around every corner practically. Every corner that is safe to drift around of course. It got me thinking now, maybe I'll get a 545 in a few months with SB and a ECU upgrade.

Congrats on the mod - it's my fav so far!

A tip on hiding the module. - I just did it this morning.

Try to cut a sideways "T" - sorda like this: -l
Do it right above the slot where the base of the gas pedal slides into.

There's some foam behind the carpet - that really gives way - so there's plenty of give.

PM if you need any more help.

Enjoy the mod!

I'm confused about the part where you disconnected it. From what I read the first time, it seems like you took off the SB because of the error and you wanted to notice the difference so you drove your car without the SB for comparison. Then you reconnected the SB afterwards back? Was the error still there? The second time I read what you wrote, I get that you just disconnected the SB and reconnect it immediately back and didn't get the error no more. I guess I am confused on what you really meant because you said, "engine isnt revving before and no errors." Did you mean you didn't get the error the 2nd time you plug it in or did you mean that when you took off the SB and just went back to the default BMW wiring, everything went back to normal as usual?
