Well I was trying to sleep in after a late night going to bed at 3. Well I get woked up by a doorbell, who could be wanting me early at 8AM. WTF, am I awake, the Post Office guy? So I sign, and when I open my eyes more I realize its the sprint booster. So I say what the heck I'm already up. I get the thing installed, takes about 2 minutes. I put it in and I notice my RPMs are revving from 1-2 constantly. I get errors on my i-drive with engine malfunction and cruise control fatal error or something.
So I try to drive the thing and it just jerks like crazy. So I take a recess, have breakfast to think it over.

I take the pedal off again and disconnect and reconnect it. Start it, engine isnt revving before and no errors, yay.
I take it out for a spin, and first impressions, holy *hit. The 525 doesn't have the most power, but with this thing it feels like a total beast.  I drove through the neighborhood a bit, and I already know this thing will be getting me tickets. Speed limit is 20 and I find my speedometer at 60 somehow. But the mod is definately worth the money, my only main concern is, does this damage the engine over time with the high revs? I think I gotta get used to this thing first before jumping into the weekly traffic which I always face if I don't want to get into a accident with the added thrust.

I have never heard of such a thing either, but sure enough the USPS guy was at my door.

Another satisfied SprintBooster

In time, you'll learn how to adjust your accelerating habits. Surely you won't be driving like a beast everywhere. But it's nice knowing that when you need to mash on that pedal, she'll go :)

How easy was the install? Will it void BMW warranty?

Hey Martin, the installation was very easy. Simply remove the gas pedal, plug-in the module - you're done. The challenging part is more on hiding the module under the carpet. If you want a clean job, you'll want to tuck the module under the carpet.

I haven't had any issues with warranty... but I'll let the others chime in regarding their experience.
