Cool awesome set-up.
the DVD thing is awesome.
Though I dont see much of a point for the front view camera, but then again why the hell not have one.

The USB is a sub-set of the ACM so it's the other way around you can add ACM w/o the USB.
I don't think OEM BMW has direct USB interface for the pre-LCI which make Dension GW500 route more appealing.
AFAIK from install point of view if we already have AUX menu in iDrive no further programming/enabling require for adding ACM.

Does the OEM USB video interface play DVDs that have been ripped to a harddrive or do you have to select the individual .VOB file for it to play. My aftermarket USB media player does not allow me to play DVDs and when it switches from one VOB file to another there is a brief moment of a blank screen when its shifts files.
By DVDs I mean can you just point the media player at the directory where the DVD has been dumped and it will play everything including the menus etc.

When playing MP3s through the ACM+USB does it show ID3 tags, playing time, folder/file name?
Any difference to what's shown using BMWs (6FL) USB-interface?

By can you mean? I have this on my car but you couldn't buy the ACM in the UK when I last checked, although you can buy the USB module - daft I know.
