The cops around Metro NY all seem to use laser, will the V1 make a difference?

Nothing will make a difference with laser because of it being an instantaneous signal, the only thing a radar is good for at that point is just making you aware there is a laser present. You have a chance with the other bands of radar signal because their signals get stronger as you progress towards the source, but once a laser hits, its game over.

On another note, as I was driving into work I came to the conclusion that V1 arrows enable you to focus your attention on a threat in one area. Otherwise, you're stuck looking around to see where the threat could be coming from. Thus, I think its a value add tool for the radar.

V1.

It works well on road trip of 1,400 miles, 9 hours, through 4 states and mountainous region. Lots of warning time. The only time you'll get busted is with laser, no one else in the area to reflect radar signals ahead, or air patrol.

Rear tint film of Llumar Charcoal CTX/ATX 40% SR HPR works well for rear detection as well. I could not detect difference in radar signal strength when passing a stationary radar unit on the roadside, front and back signals seem equal.

None of the top detectors have a lock on all of the sensitivity tests. It comes down to the benefits of the arrows (what direction) over the benefits of the GPS (redlight camera, known speed traps, traffic cameras and known junk radar)
Weight everyones opinions.

This is how Denmark is dealing with speeders. Caution soft nudity.

The V1 is also easy to hardwire without hardwiring. The power connectors are RJ-11 and the cable is a small flat ribbon cable (like a telephone wire). The cable is easily tucked under the headliner, run to the passenger-side A-pillar, across and down the A-pillar, by the glovebox, across the footwell, and to the 12VDC socket underneath the glovebox. No removal, cutting or splicing required - that makes it easy to remove too.

The escort/beltronics has the same connector. I have mine on top of the windshield just like yours and run down the passenger A-pillar and into the passenger footwell where there is a 12v connector. I hope the F10 has a footwell 12v power supply too.
After looking at your photo, the newer design escort/beltronics are smaller than the V1.
