Local BMW dealer is quoting me $2854 out the door (includes tax) for M Aero Kit install on 07 550i Sport, Jet Black w/ PDC.

Is that a good price? I know you can get painted kits shipped for just over $2k.

But after I add on local install costs, I'm wondering if its just better to go with a dealer install?

I say if you can buy the kit for around $2K or less $850 is worth an afternoon in your garage with a buddy and a case of beer! I installed my kit myself and it really wasnt hard at all, as long as you have a basic tool set. Too bad you didnt live by me, I do it for half the labor....

I think it is really good price. I was trying to purchase the kit from Garry but I purchased the kit from local BMW dealer with CCA discount. The price was the same as Garry's price. Anyway, BMW dealer installed and the total price was $3278 for 08 535i. Showhand11404 paid $3700 at Newport BMW. http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=52938 When I purchased my car, I asked salesman and he told me $3800. I don't think I saved money but the difference is $522.
