I was running 19" generals on my e46 for the past year and loved them, you really can't beat the bang for your buck you get with these tires.

when i returned my Benz at the end of my lease it was down to the wear bar and the inspection guy said it was still in acceptable range. if you really need to replace them go with cheap tires, i think dealers put in their own brand of tire anyway.

The General tires are what I usually recommend to those that want a good set of tires and not having to spend a fortune on them. You can go with a set of Michelin PS2 for the best ride and performance but they don't last that long and will put a big dent in your pocket.
