My car didn't come with Navigation and only came with the MASK system. I like it better that way. The system is faster plus I like my GPS to be standalone.

I went out and purchased the Garmin nuvi 1450LMT, I was gonna create something nifty to have it integrated somewhere into the dash.

I leave Best Buy open the package in the car and to my surprise this 5 inch Garmin fits perfectly right near the gear shift knob. Looks kinda cool actually!!! So if ya LCi owners don't got nav this a perfect fit doesn't move when accelerating and turning hard. Believe me I tried.

Look at the pics. (Was watching breaking bad when I was talking the pics)

Reason I say LCi owners is because I believer the area that the GPS is sitting in currently is a little different in non LCi E60s right?

Probably gonna wrap it in some sort of vinyl so it blends to the cars color better.

Thanks for posting this! I hate having a GPS stuck to a windshield.

I dunno, I personally think it's somewhat of a safety concern to not be able to see the road and the navi at the same time. But if it works for you.

You sure it won't come out when accelerating hard? I keep my cell phone by the nav screen and one time I launched off a light so fast it flew straight to the top of the rear seat. If a pre-LCI 550i can do that, I bet you could smash the screen of that Garmin on your shifter under the right circumstances.

A real tiny piece of industrial strength velcro helps. Doesn't budge.

Nice! My Garmin is suctioned to the passenger side of iDrive screen. Anoys the hell out of them as it blocks half the screen, but not from where I'm sitting!

It's higher up so I dont take my eyes off the road for too long.
