hey brother,
welp-- as they all have already mentioned the scrapes will come regardless of you being mindful when entering or exiting slopes. Just as long as its not a horrible scrape you can always spray a light coat of clear on that bad boy and you're good to go! I'm sure I'm not the first to have done this, but my buddies in the JDM scene were kinda clueless to the temporary fix.
I like the OEM splitters for the Mtech, but they're hard to come by and I probably wouldn't choose it over the Hamann

hard to avoid scrapes, as others say, slow and angle it...
you could always try vinyl wrapping your splitter or a clear bra, but that still gives little to no protection...
no matter what it's going to happen, just a matter of when....
btw: I like the oem m tech splitters rather than the 1 piece after market splitters for oem m tech kits

John, did you get the lip installed? C'mon it doesn't take this long. I took mine off after a week. I got really tired of cleaning the bubble gum off the bottom and lead edge of the lip! My car is factory lowered and with the lip it was just too low. I actually pull in Starbucks drive thru and contacted the curb. Not thinking, I backed up and the the lip dug in to the curb and pulled the bumper off the car! Just left side. Reattached and had to make a small repair to get it back in the correct position. I think the lip works well if the car is not lowered. But either way is looks really nice!
