Need to get a new front licence plate bracket for my 2007 530i. Dealer charging $60.00!!!

Found one on ebay:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...ht_2556wt_1165

Still seems kind of pricey. Anyone know of a cheaper way of getting one? Maybe getting one used some place?

Part number of bracket: 51117111743.

Any insight is appreciated.

You could also look into those hide-away ones that stow the plate under the bumper. James Bond cool and doesn't look bad at all.

Mount your license plate in a frame (mine is matte black metal) and use 3M double-sided tape to secure it to your front bumper. That way you can position it centered on your front bumper w/o any protrusion. And if you have holes already drilled into your bumper they'll be covered.

Mine has withstood the test of time for the past 4 years!
