Hi
I have a standard 530D (E60) and wish to fit the seats from a scrapped E60 which features memory seats. Can this be done or does the wiring loom need to be replaced as I was informed by my local BMW dealer?

 

I tried this last night and it was a disaster. I took out my seat and put in the memory type seat and found that the wiring was different. I have electric seats with just up/down and tilt electrically. The multi plug is wired differently and there is a seperate plug that is not on my loom. I am in contact with BMW at the moment and will see if it is possible to get a section of the loom that will just plug in....
