Hi Dominic,
I just ordered the module from you yesterday and it's been transporting. If you ship the old unit, can I exchange it for the new one? Would there be price difference? I'm interested in i-Drive integration module. I feel so frustrated after I hear the new module come out with i-Drive integration.

Sorry no, the I-Drive unit will only work with the new unit, it is totally different.

1: I have an MP3 player (not an Ipod) with a line out (3.5mm jack) - where and how would this hook up? Basically, why would you pay over $350 to have a dealer install and activate an AUX in if the MP3 player and an FM Modulator would solve the problem and you get so much more out of this unit?
2: Where would you mount the DVD player (how much do your DVD players cost)
3: Where does the FM modulator (if you go this route mount)
4: Do you just hook all the wires that you may ever need to the unit in case you want to add other sources later?
5: How do you access the unit (i.e. turn it on and off) if it is behind the screen?
6: How exactly does the new Idrive controller work?
Are the instructions easy enough to follow for a novice? How long does a "typical" install take? Is the group buy still open for the new unit?
