Hey guys. I've been wanted to do this mod for a very long time. I was just afraid to mess the paint on OEM tail lights. Honestly, I wanted to get a aftermarket tail lights and paint them, but couldn't find a cheap pair. So, two days ago, I just got up painted both tail lights myself for around $15. However, I'm not confident with the mod... Did I took away the classyness of the BMW? Guys, let me know what you think

I think it looks great, nice job. What did you use? I have been wanting to do this, I think silver could pull it off nicely...

The finish looks abit matt to be honest, did u clear coat over the tint spray? if you have clearcoated over it obviously hasn't been buffed up, once you buff them and get the dark red shiney and looking like glass they will look great.

very nice. I think it is a good look...goes with the black grille. Did you use a clear coat? what product did you use?
I also think it would look good on silver!

Thank you guys Now I feel much better. I got the tint spray and clear coat from Hobby Lobby. For the tint spray, I got the RC294 Window Tint ($5.99). And for the clear coat, I got a ultra gloss clear coat (about $8-$10). Somehow the finish looks matte... I don't know why, but I think I should take the tail lights again and wet sand them...otherwise, ill try a different kind of clear coat.

Absolutely you are right. I did use ultra gloss clear coat, but it does look matte. I need to either buff it, or wet sand it.
