Looks good but lacking clear. You should use a taillight tint spray with clear. There are some on ebay that work perfect. Just have to know how to spray for the right finish.

+1 the color/shade is nice but they'd look really nice if they were shinier (more "finished" looking)... after a good clearcoat, they need to be wet sanded then polished to a shine.

its a really easy process. just time consuming and makes your arm tired.

Clean the tails and dry them.

follow the instructions on the rubbing compound (repeat this process 3 times)
follow the instructions on the polishing compound (repeat this process until the desired look is reached. i think i did it 4 times on both sides)

be sure to post the new look of the tails!!

BTW: DO NOT RUB IN A CIRCULAR MOTION - it will leave swirl marks. Rub back and forth only!!

Ok... I had time today to take the lights off and polish them. I tried the rubbing compound about 4 times and then used polishing compound about 5 times.... no change at all
I don't know what else to do

you have to scrub hard. other than that if it didnt work then maybe its because of the different spray. i dont know. mine worked, and this is the only personal experience i have ever had with tint spray.

I'm sorry for beeing late. I've tried to polsih it, but still not glossy. The surface is pretty smooth tho. I think I'll keep it that way
