I don't know what it is but the photos suck. They do nothing for the car. Much nicer in person, especially with the 15mm spacers out back. Anyways heres before and afters. It think the drop is pretty clear. Seems to have droped the rear overall more than the front.

Looks loads better! I totally forgot how these cars look stock (non sport). They are like 4x4s!

The only way to go next from here is to upgrade to some 166s and coilovers, then you'll know what super tight turning is like . Overall I diggggggg.

Yes,they are OE springs that I bought used from a member. It has he BMW marking on the springs but no print. Brand new, you can pick them up for about $425 a set. Used should run no more than $200.

I don't want to admit it but I think you were right. I may be switching to an Eibach Pro-kit cause I feel it could be a little lower. I bet the .5" extra would be perfect. I just don't have the money for new shocks right now. Are you mounting the race springs with stock shocks?

lol
yeah, i didntt want to burst your bubble man but after you lower a little, you wanna keep going...its a tease with the sports springs.
Im gonna mount the race with sport shocks, thats what they're already mounted on. Ride it out until the end of the year, then probably swap the shocks for bilsteins. The right thing to do would be get the shocks and springs together, but these are already mounted and paid for from another member, and actually rode pretty well when I went for a test ride. Pro-kit, I would say is fine for non-sport shocks, although I'm sure many will disagree. The pro-kit is barely considered a drop, imo.

Either get h&r sports or coilovers. Keep in mind that I am only installing h&r race because they came part of a deal I made with someone parting out his car, otherwise, I would never go for a 2" drop on any OEM shock...which, at the cost of springs and shocks (800) i would rather spend 300 more and get the h&r coilover for this car (1200). The h&r coilover for our car is pretty comfortable.
