What shop?
Its a shop that is right around the corner from where West Cost Customs used be by the huge rental car places near LAX. Can't remember the name. I also know an automotive upholsterer from my motorcycle club. I can get a quote if your really interested.

I bet you can get just the molded roof liner for $408 and have the rest dyed black. My other BMW with truffle leather had a black headliner and it's the only color option as far as I'm concerned. I'm sorry I missed this when I ordered my car but it did not show up on teh options sheets or online and tehd ealer didn't tell me about it or I would've bought it. Of course I believe BMW just screws you out of the $500 when new. On a car with Auburn/Black a grey headliner is a dumb idea anyway- who knew?

gray is a beautiful color. I'd rather stick 24 hundred dollar bills on my headliner. LOL

Suede? That sounds nice. What color? Please post pics when you do it. That's a great idea.

Well, I keep looking for a black headliner to replace my gray, which just doesn't look right with my Auburn seats & Black dash. I found one on eBay today:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BMW-E60-M5-...sQ5fAccessories

A whopping $2,399 + $99 shipping! This is way out of my price range. What's your opinion, is this a reasonable price? If so, I guess gray never looked as good to me as it does now.
Try Gary from Rhode Island BMW. See how much he'll charge you plus you'll get 25% off the price.
