Factory radiator?

Factory radiator?
We have a 2010 e60 with N52k.
The vehicle has 45,000 miles on it and I just pulled out the radiator to clean it.
The first thing I notice is it didn't have a radiator drain fitting. I'm talking about the red screw that drains the radiator on most BMW's.
Does that mean the first owner of the vehicle installed a new radiator or does the BMW factory install some radiators that have no drain function?
