I'm new here....asking questions about my upcoming 535 purchase.....anyway my business is doing industrial powder coating. (I'm not soliciting because I don't typically do the kind of work you are asking about, we do it by the truck load)

Anyway, break calipers should be done with a polyester not epoxy coating. Epoxy will degrade in outdoors due to UV. No way should it cost $1,000. if someone were to properly prep and coat four calipers I would say $100-$250 max depending on where you are in the country. Preparation is everything for durability. Just make sure you go somewhere reputable if not peeling would be a real bummer.......

I did my with G2 Caliper paint.. I paint the calipers on the car.After a year and half still like painted yesterday

 

I like the MGP covers better than painting the calipers. Painted calipers look cheep in my opinion unless you have a big kit like Brembo or similar. I have MGP covers with BmW logo and am happy with them. The only problem is they they do not have shape or contures to highlight calipers. But in my opinion they make mine look little bit bigger. Thinking changing to red or yellow

 

They look good. Where did you find them with the BMW logo?
