Yes and no.......The Remus, Eisenmann and B&B can all be bolted on using a clamp (or they can be welded on), but in either case the original BMW pipe has to be cut. BMW did not put a flange in-line, so there is no way to unbolt just the muffler......the pipe leading to the muffler has to be cut.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the Dinan mufflers used to be nothing more than a cut open and modded BMW OE muffler. I guess that's OK, but, if you plan on keeping it forever, might make me think twice about the durability.

In that case I can take my muffler to a cardiac surgeon and have him perform an angioplasty.

 

But he porbably won't do it without insurance in place.....
