My Ride: 2006 M5 with many mods....
I recommend you go with some tips that are etched with the letters RPI 
However, apparently you can only get them with a really good stage 3 exhaust set up!

I was thinking of getting polished (not chrome) pipe 3.5? outlet and 2mm thick,
cut it in 4 4 pieces , sand down the edge, it would have that Dinan look to it.
Just a thought
might be alot cheaper....
