The drone really isn't that bad. I barely notice it now. Most exhausts are going to give you some sort of droning at some point in the rpms. I say test it out for a few days. If you don't like it, have a custom exhaust made or purchase one.

Worst case you weld the stock muffler back on... $40 no harm no foul.
